Without further ado, here are the top trends I noticed on the spring 2013 runways.
High-Waisted Shorts
High-waisted shorts are a big trend this Spring, and they are popping up in every store imaginable. By wearing high-waisted shorts, you accentuate the waist. Honestly, these make the really shorts lengths that we tend to wear look wayyy classier than normal jean shorts.

Patterned Pants
Patterned pants were a trend for this Winter as well as this upcoming Spring. Instead of heavy patterned jeans, I have been seeing patterned leggings and lighter weight pants for Spring. Also, patterned shorts will be trending once the warm weather kicks in.

Structured Jackets
Structured jackets were a huge trend on the runways this season. From blazers to outerwear to trench coats to dress coats, the more structured and stiff the build, the more they were loved. The thing with stuctured jackets is that if they do not fit well, it is noticeable on the shoulders and the sleeves. Find the right size and fit for you, and you are golden for Spring.
